MRSS Supervision Training | November 10, 2021 (9:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m.)

Presenters: Sarah Becker, LCSW, National MRSS Consultant  Rick Shepler, Ph.D., LPCC-SUPV, Co-Director of the CABH COE, CWRU 

This training will present an overview of MRSS Supervision. Key areas that will be covered include program management and clinical oversight of Mobile Response Stabilization Services (MRSS).

Supervisors will learn how to utilize the MRSS practice standards to provide supervisory oversight of staffing, caseload management, and progression through MRSS practice phases. Tracking and staffing 24/7 outreach availability and the use of daily team meetings for progress updates will be discussed.

Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to:  
1) List the MRSS supervisory roles and functions
2) Apply the MRSS practice standards in supervision.
3) Utilize strategies for managing MRSS 24/7 availability, and managing staff caseloads. 
4) Utilize daily team meetings in monitoring high acuity concerns across caseloads
5) Assist MRSS staff in monitoring the progression through MRSS phases
