    The Ohio Children’s Alliance(“Alliance”), on behalf of the Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Center of Excellence(COE), is accepting applications from eligible organizations to promoteexpertisein mental health service delivery to children and young adults using telehealth methods. The Alliance will use approximately $60,000 of total funding from the COE to award multiple grants to community behavioral health agenciesfor the period of March1, 2023 through June 1, 2023. To be eligible to apply, a community behavioral health agency must commit to supporting up to two (2) selected staff members in their participation of the required telehealth training during typical business hours.

This funding opportunity, offered by the Ohio Children’s Alliance on behalf of Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (CABH COE), is for eligible providers earning the Board Certified-TeleMental Health (BC-TMH) credential. Eligible uses of funding are: (1) reimbursement for the costs of training registration (through the New Star Institute) and the exam and (2) as an incentive to participate in and complete the credentialing process. Requested funds per application shall not exceed more than $1,600.

The total amount per award and number of awards shall be determined by the number of applications received, the quality of the applications, and alignment with the selection criteria. Awards will be limited to no more than two (2) providers per agency.

The Ohio Children’s Alliance will notify awardees on March 3, 2023. Approved agencies will be responsible for paying for the training registration ($250) as well as the test, ($150) and will be reimbursed by the Ohio Children’s Alliance upon the recipient’s approval from the testing organization to take the exam. Both the trainings and notification of approval to take the exam must be completed by June 16, 2023 or the reimbursement may be forfeited.
